GECIAN Annual Summary 2006 07.pdf GECIAN Annual Summary 2007 08.pdf Archoo and Nose Blowing DVD'sThis wonderfully creative and catchy DVD/CD set is a useful tool for workers and families to teach children the importance of blowing our noses correctly and why we need to cover our faces when we sneeze.
The DVD/CD set was funded by the Victorian Department of Human Services (now the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development) through GECIAN. The DVD/CD set can be purchased for $16.45 (includes postage). Contact Us if you would like a copy of the DVD's. Best Practice Transition KitThis pilot resource Kit was developed to support early childhood service professionals assist families and children make successful transitions from home into childcare, kindergarten and school.
We encourage you to peruse the Kit, add your resources and provide feedback on any modifications necessary to ensure our goals and the needs of professionals using the Kit are met. It may provide tools and information that may be helpful to workers and families during the transition to school process. There is also helpful information to assist in the transition from home to school. Link to Vision Australia ECI Information Kit for FamiliesThis information kit has been developed to help you understand the beginning of your journey with your child.
It is designed as a tool to take with you to your planning meetings, discussions, therapy sessions, etc. This kit can be used to house all relevant information you may be given regarding your ECI journey. We hope it provides some guidelines and assists you in meeting you and your child's needs.
